An anti RH Bill exhibit I did this week at UST. reblog if you agree.
Hindi ko alam kung ano mas nakakadiri: yung kabobohan or yung saksakan ng kapangitan ng putanginang HDR/oversharpened bullshit na ito.
Try harder.
Hindi lahat ng estudyante ng libro pero lahat may condom? Are you purposely obtuse or did you just completely miss the point? Do you know why not all students don’t have books? It’s because there’s a surplus of people over the amount of money and resources the government have. Those who are in the surplus are in poverty because they can’t be provided for.
And do you know why? Because the country is overpopulated. There’s also too many peoples in the cities, but I digress because that’s entirely something else. A condom doesn’t even guarantee population control. People can still have condoms and you know, not use it. Those things can also fail, although granted that failure is very, very rare and mostly happens if it a condom is old enough, not stored properly, or has been tampered with.
And also, I don’t understand, why are you expecting a condom to help sustain your family? It’s not to help sustain your family, it’s for preventing an increase in overpopulation.
Oh oh and also, also, this is very dear to my heart because it’s happened to a cousin: Do you know why a condom is necessary? It’s because the current sexual education in the Philippines is so lacking that when kids decide to become more intimate, they often get pregnant because… because IDK why they didn’t use a stupid fucking condom. It’s not because they have suddenly been overcome by sin, by the devil, or whatever else you believe it to be. It’s called hormones. Like you know, back in the day when women were charged of having a sickness called hysteria? And accident or not, my cousin now has three children, works at a call-centre even though she could have really done so much better than that and this is not my high-standards talking and has to ask my mother and my other aunties for money constantly.
And do you know why that pisses me off? Just because we’re in countries that earns in dollars doesn’t mean we’re rich. Heck, we’re probably a lot poorer than we were if we were in the Philippines. It’s just you know, I live in a country where my mother has wonderful medical benefits, where the government can afford to give you money to study and other social welfare benefits.
Do you know why Canada gets to do that? (Besides our ‘socialist’ leanings, America, wtf) It’s because we’re not overpopulated. Granted, no one would probably want to live in Ellesmere Island (largest city population 141!) if force came to shove because it’s just so cold (which sounds like an understatement) there.
And you know what, a condom is going to change the Philippines’ ideals on sex and sexuality. I know a lot of Filipino teenagers in Canada who get pregnant in their teens regardless of all the sex ed, and exposure to said topics that we get. (Did your teacher make you put a condom on a wooden dick? Because I have.) No, no, they still get pregnant because they think sex is this bad thing you do and having sex with your current boyfriend/girlfriend is this great rebellious act against parents who can’t understand the cultures and practices of their new country.
TL;DR: This is stupid, what the actual hell. It’s a condom for fuck’s sakes. It doesn’t have a mind of its own. The people involved in the actual act of sex have to decide whether they want to use it or not. All of the arguments you’ve posted with your pictures totally miss the point of everything. Talk to me when Plan B is introduced in the Philippines, because oh man, I can’t wait for the
ugly pictures you’d draw thenugly photos you’d photomanipulate then. What the actual hell did you do to these pictures anyway? And bro, I can’t read some of the text on some of them. How is that supposed to get your message across? Oh wait, that’s better, your message doesn’t need to go across, it’s fine, keep them ugly.TL;DR 2: Someone tell me that this was a poor attempt at satire, or just a troll, and I will admit to overreacting and being too emotional, -insert other adjectives here that are seen negatively because they are related mostly to females-.
THIS IS SO FUCKING STUPID. Holy shit. The amount of misinformation in this makes me so fucking sick.
The statements I love are bolded because Eina can tell it much better than I can right now. I have no energy to argue.
Dear God fuck you. You are so fucking stupid.
Haha, lol, imagine when abortion becomes legal (because I’m telling you, I will fight for it in ways I can as a writer there’s still a long way to go but I’ve read how Filipinas fought for suffrage and it gives me hope). When your “morality” is more important than the lives and choice of women, you need to shut the fuck up.
I’m against the RH bill. However, calling someone “fucking stupid” because he/she believes in something you don’t believe in is greatly hypocritical. Anyone can form their opinion- we have different perceptions of morality.
I just want to cry a little for this country again.
I want to love my brothers and sisters and everything, but if the church would excommunicate me just because I think that proper sex education, widespread availability of contraceptives, proper family planning and giving people—women—more choices (i.e. things they can pick from and not things that will be forced onto them!!! unlike other things!!!) would help this country and benefit the future generations, then so be it.
